Guess who got to go home today!!!!
After 3 months and 5 days, Marie was released from the rehabilitation center and will be able to sleep in her own bed tonight. Hoorah!
As a family, we are all so very, very proud of her. She is our hero! She has fought so hard to live, to overcome the unimaginable amount of pain, suffering, and tragedy. What she experienced is something we will never be able to understand in this life, but we are so grateful for her survival and have a greater respect for her strength, dedication, determination, and smile. Marie, we love you and will continue to be here by your side. We always be there to walk with you and help you become stronger each day.

This past week Marie also received a special visitor from Canada. Our cousin, Monica McKee Young, was visiting the Nashville area with her husband and took the time out (from her search for Blake Shelton) to stop in to visit Marlo and Marie...They had a great visit and now we have this very special picture!
Monica, much love, hugs, and a big heartfelt appreciation to you. Oh, and funny, as you mentioned, hopefully it won't be another 29 years before our family gets to see you again!
